I had a fantastic stay at the guest house and restaurant. The location was amazing, just a short walk to the beach and surf spots. The restaurant had a diverse menu with both local and Western dishes, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. Excellent breakfast and tasty tuna steak. Talented chef and friendly local staff. Convenient location near main road and peaceful beach. Ideal for a relaxing stay with no nightlife. Spacious rooms available.

Stayed in the heart of a lovely village, enjoyed spectacular sunsets and excellent surfing. Loved the daily changing menu and array of activities. The shared lounge was a nice touch.
I absolutely hated having so many amenities nearby - who needs banks, shops, and supermarkets? So inconvenient.

Gurubebila is a charming village, perfect for relaxing and surfing. Great local food, plenty amenities. Shared lounge and activities available.
Oh, the room was a bit warm with just one fan. But hey, cold showers did the trick!

The staff at the hotel is extremely helpful and accommodating, providing a lot of information about surf spots and places to visit. They also arranged airport transfers for us. the rooms are clean and simple, and the view from the balcony is beautiful with green palm tree tops. the restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty dishes, including tuna tartare and daily specials.
The food in the restaurant can be quite expensive compared to other places and may not be as good.

I chose to visit Taprobane Island and Dorian Guest House And Restaurant impressed me with its location, just a few minutes walk from Coconut and Plantation Surf Points, two of the best surf breaks on the South Sri Lanka coast.
European manager was unhelpful and rude, noisy room above the bar, no compensation.

I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse. The hosts were incredibly friendly and always eager to help. They made my time here truly worthwhile. The rooms were spotlessly clean and located close to the sea. The homemade rice and curry at the restaurant was absolutely delicious.
Nothing, everything was excellent.
